Working Women for God was founded in 2016 through a simple act of obedience and prayer. What began as a small gathering of four sisters seeking God for healing, direction, and restoration has grown into a ministry dedicated to helping women walk in faith, purpose, and renewal.
In the beginning, we met early in the mornings, coming together in prayer during a season where we all needed healing. We were seeking God for guidance, strength, and restoration in our own lives.
As we prayed, fasted, and leaned on God, something powerful began to happen, not only were we being healed, but we were being transformed.
At that time, the ministry was called Wounded Women for God, because we were in a place of healing and learning how to trust God again. Our foundation scripture was Isaiah 53:5 which says “By His stripes, we are healed.”
But as we continued to grow in our relationship with God, He began to shift the vision.

In 2023, God placed it on our hearts to rename the ministry Working Women for God. We were no longer just in a place of healing, we were being called to do the work of the Lord.

Our mission is to help women walk through the process of healing, growth, and renewal through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are committed to helping women overcome shame, guilt, brokenness, past struggles, and trauma so they can step into their God given identity and purpose.
We stand on John 9:4-5, which reminds us that we must work the works of Him who sent us while it is day and be the light in the world.
Today, Working Women for God serves as a community where women can grow spiritually, remain disciplined in their walk with God, and find support, accountability, and encouragement.
Through prayer, fasting, teaching, and outreach, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus.
